**Janice** was a close friend to [[character:Valcen]]'s human incarnation in 2008. She knew him as //Anton Lusk//. At the end of the //Satellites// chapter of //[[:A Thread Between The Stars]]//, Valcen assumes that she will miss him, but also that his avatar's would not likely upset her. Their alleged friendship does not inspire him to contact her for good-byes, however.
