**Sesakanala** is a planet within [[character:Zalaagra]]'s domain, where [[character:Valcen]] spent several centuries of his life prior to involving himself in the problems on [[planet:Nekenalos]]. It's name is derived from //sesaka// (mystery) and //nala// (earth), thus roughly translating to 'mysterious ground'.

Not much is canonically known about the cultures on Sesakanala, although fragmented reference occasionally surface in //A Thread Between The Stars//. One of these references is a proverb that [[character:Ne͡ivat'va]] recalls shortly after being let out of her cell and before meeting [[character:Terenyira]] for a formal conversation:
