Kavkema don't tend to attach a lot of meaning to smut, but don't mistake this as an implication that they're any less fond of sex than us humans are. If anything, they're far more into it - it's part of their social bonding. Briefly stated, friends fuck each other as a way of being friendly. That said, aside from basic copulation, kavkem sexuality and human sexuality don't have a lot of things in common. Kavkema have very different erogenous zones and kinks than humans do.

Kavkem sexuality in general tends to escalate from preening and rubbing muzzles against flanks. The notion of consent is not as big a deal by far as it is for humans - it's practically a non-issue, since females can easily resorb eggs they didn't mean to produce (i.e. eat them). 'The sex I had with that guy was bad' is a worse insult than 'That guy fucked me without that I wanted him to', and generally that's likely how that narrative would instead be spun.

Kavkema don't care about genders. If it has genitalia, they're going to get licked.

Since kavkema have clawed fingers, the kind of manipulative fondling that humans are used to is out of the question. For most purposes, the kavkem tongue fulfils the same role. As such, the majority of foreplay, in as much as it is engaged in (which may not be much in a casual fuck, but the closer kavkema are, the more they become interested in pleasing each other beyond simple sex), involves gentle nibbling and licking of sensitive spots.

'Sensitive spots' obviously includes genitalia directly, but kavkem foreplay is not limited to oral sex.

That said, it's worth noting that on the topic of oral sex, kavkema will not put someone's dick in their mouth unless they are deeply intimate with each other. It's a trust question - kavkem teeth are pretty sharp and it's easy to hurt your partner even on accident; it requires a significant amount of concentration to get right, and the care to want to apply that concentration in the first place. However, there is a pay-off for that (which we'll get to soon). In any case, for more casual hook-ups, licking and rubbing the tip of one's muzzle across the other's genitalia is more appropriate.

In very rare cases, knuckles are used for stimulation. This is especially interesting for smaller genital features - e.g. clitoris (which kavkema do possess) or the soft edges in the structure of a kavkem penis - but also in short 'massages', although these are usually only done with a thin cloth between recipient and masseuse, to avoid pinching any feathers.

Some kavkema deal with the degree of danger and suffering in the world by exploring these things in a controlled environment. Some even take visceral pleasure out of such exchanges, resulting in the kavkem equivalent of BDSM.

BDSM for kavkema is rarely communicated as clearly as humans might like the equivalent - it's very ad-hoc, involving a simple try-and-observe model of interaction, although consent plays an equally large role. A few things are considered pleasurable on average to the masochists and/or submissives in kavkem society and will likely be happened upon by even casual explorers:

• careful plucking of individual feathers from the spine
• constraining the muzzle, e.g. by tightly binding it

Implements are rarely used (kavkema travel lightly), although whips and belts would no doubt have interesting effects if used lightly on inner thighs or the genital area. A major erogenous zone for kavkema are the inner thighs. More protected from accidental touch than even the inner thighs of humans, these are covered in a very soft down and about as sensitive as the back of a human neck, or the sweet spot at the end of the human spine, just above the curve of the ass. Even a gentle rubbing along these areas feels fantastic to a kavkem, and you could inch them surprisingly close to orgasm just by playing those areas right (but they will not actually reach orgasm this way).

Another universal erogenous zone is the roof of a kavkem's mouth. Another, practically specific to male kavkema (although female kavkema have a shallower, analogous structure), is an accident of their anatomy. Kavkema cannot be identified as being of the one or other sex simply by looking between their legs - a kavkem penis is sheathed by a slit or pouch of skin while flaccid and so entirely invisible at cursory examination. If one wanted to reach it in its flaccid state, one would have to push fingers into this slit by about an inch. When the penis is erect, there is still space between it and the protective pouch, and one could in fact reach into it. This space can be considered vaguely analogous to a vulva (which it does resemble in structure) and on a tactile level responds similarly to human testicles to stimulation.
