Tain (on Asheenagiji, Nekenalos) is a large Nayabaru settlement only a few kilometres inland from the coast.

In regards to the efforts of the Nayabaru to capture kavkema, it forms an equatorial complement to Katal. In A Thread Between The Stars, Valcen cites Tain as one of the “focal points of Evenatra's efforts”¹⁾, though he warns about searching only there, since the weapon would share that same focus.
